The idea behind this is good but it is very bulky and you will need to plan ahead when you maybe near deep water as this strap is not great for day to day use.

You should not buy a under water digital camera without the float strap. I tested a few underwater cameras and they all had one thing in common… none floated. I purchased this for the Olympus Tough and it worked great. I went shelling with the strap on one arm and a net in the other. I dropped the camera in the water and this strap kept it floating and was easy to spot. As I got use to it, I would let the camera float on the water while I picked up shells and when I was ready to move down the beach, it was easy to grab. The only thing that would have been nice was a better grip surface on it because it would slide off my arm sometimes.

Arrived as promised. Have not had a chance to use in the water yet but will be in January in the Caribbean. Seems like a high quality item that should last for many years.

The strap was exactly as advertised and came in in only a few days, it was a great buy.

At first I was skeptical about this product. The camera felt a little heavy for the flotation device. I tested it in shallow water first before trying in deeper water. We took it on our last vacation to Laughlin and had no problems with it. I would recommend this product to anyone that loves being in the water.
